The Holy Ghost is a revelator.” DHC 6:58. The Voice of the Lord is unto all… “both old and young, bond and free, male and female.” We must come to know the voice of the Lord as we negotiate our way through our time. Especially in today’s world, President Russell M. Nelson has said: It will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding influence of the Lord. This episode has three wonderful stories of people who heard the ‘Still, Small Voice’ and followed it. The Word of the Lord is sure. Some are spirits; some are glorious, resurrected beings with Eternal bodies; and some are translated beings with bodies that have been modified from mortal realms. This modification allows them to remain on earth, furthering the Lord’s work until His glorious second coming. They are not bound by time, space or distance. They will be among us and most of us will not distinguish them from our fellow mortal beings. We generically refer to these beings as the 3 Nephites. The 3 Nephites were assigned by Jesus Christ to administer the work of these beings as they help bring the gospel to Lamanites, Jews, and Gentiles. But they have thousands of translated beings under their administration to accomplish the Lord’s purposes. I appreciate everyone who has taken a chance and shared their sacred experiences with us. Leaving Council Bluffs in 1846 William Staines was asked to migrate with the Ponca Indian Tribe through their winter hunting grounds. He suffered from loneliness, scurvy, boils and all manner of afflictions during those 6 months. The Poncas treated him with respect and dignity. He was instrumental in shaping many Indian tribe’s perspectives and attitudes toward the LDS people. During his solitary winter he witnessed a way of life that has long since been forgotten. As he neared death several times, he put his life in the hands of the Lord and accomplished much more than he could ever have dreamed. Lance Merrill 00:29:54 false full 50 1 This is an amazing story: A 10 year-old boy of royal Danish descent is injured and crippled for life. No one thought could live. In his youth he received a vision of his pre-mortal life and knew he had chosen his mortal journey.. He led an amazing life as a cripple. Miracles attended his painful labored existence as he left his native land and came to Zion. His appearance repulsed those who saw him, this caused him emotional pain. He quietly suffered through emotional and physicalpain and humiliation his entire life. As he labored in the newly opened Temples in Utah, he came to his own. Niels Eskildz was the old, crippled giant of Salt Lake.
